Gepard classification of the most dynamically developing companies in Plovdiv, Pazardjik and Smoljan regions
Gepard classification of the most dynamically developing companies in Plovdiv, Pazardjik and Smoljan districts, effected by "Pari" /money/ newspaper, has gathered for the third year the business elite of the region in Plovdiv. The announcement of the rating of the companies, published in the specialized edition Gepard, went along with a conference on the challenges to the business in an environment of financial and economic crisis. Even in times of crisis the governments must struggle for a better system of state and not for a bigger stately owned part of the economy, declared the deputy minister of economy and energy Mrs Nina Radeva. During the last year the relative share of the budget in the GDP decreased under 40%, she added. Alexander Konstantinov, deputy mayor of Plovdiv, said that "great investments are expected in the city under the hillocks during the difficult 2009 and some of them have already been effected". According to his opinion the municipality and private companies "invest considerable amount of resources in the city`s infrastructure". Elsa Markova, executive director of Bella Bulgaria Holding Inc. was bestowed the prize of "Pari" newspaper for the most dynamically developing company in the Plovdiv district. "Our company has won this weighty insignia of honour for the third consecutive time. That proves that during this time we have invested heavily in order to reach such high returns and market positions. The total amount of investments of the Holding for the period 2005-2007 has been over 10 millions of EUR", she announced. Prize winners among the nominated companies from the Plovdiv district were Galaxy Property Group Ltd, Profilink Ltd and Unitemp Ltd as well.At the ceremony insignia of honours were bestowed on the companies Roads Inc and Secdoor Ltd from Pazardjik, as well as the companies Krasin Ltd from Devin and Roster Ltd from Smoljan. The most dynamic companies in the region own business in many different branches and that creates chances for the economy in Plovdiv, Pazardjik and Smoljan to be more flexible in a period of market shrinkage. For example, the first 20 in the Gepard classification own businesses in the food stuff industry, commerce, machine building, services, construction, polygraphy. Yet, something very important, that is given high opinion of by the local people- the companies in the Gepard classification are known to society for their good image, their business is "on the bright side", they pay a considerable part of the taxes in South Central Region.
